Rip off merchants

In a nutshell I opened my account with a highish rate of interest, then a few months later they increased my limit and they increased my interest rate. This happened repeatedly until it was the maximum it could be 69.9% total rip off. I have never missed a payment yet I am deemed such a bad customer that they have to put my interest rate up, but conversely such a good customer that they give me more credit. They are now 'helping me' with my persistent debt by putting what I currently owe in one pile and making me pay more towards it and if I order anything else (which I will never again do) I will have to pay a different minimum amount on top!!! Awful rip off company. If they wanted to help me out of my 'persistent debt' maybe reduce the interest I'm paying and freeze my account

My go to online shop.

My go to online shop. It has everything I need. Woman's clothes, mens clothes footwear, homeware. If I need something it's the first place I will look. I've ordered as late as 10.30pm and still got next day delivery. Returns are super easy. Just a really pleasant shopping experience everytime. Can't rate them enough.

I am also having trouble with Marisota

I am also having trouble with Marisota, and I am thinking to contact onbudsman, I am also getting charged more than I owe, and they are adding money on all the time, how can they get away with this, surely it's illegal, must be a way to stop them, I have hardly ordered anything, yet money keeps going up and up, can anybody help me. I am almost suicidal.

I SAY TO PEOPLE OF BRITAIN, PLEASE KEEP WELL AWAY FROM MARISOTA,THERE ARE NOT JUST A 4TH RATED UNPROFESSIONAL FIRM, THERE ARE PREDUCE, DISCRIMINATION TOWARDS DISABLED PEOPLE, THEY FALL ON DEAF EARS WHEN YOU WANT A RETURN TO GO BACK, NEARL;Y ALL THE CUSTOMER SERVICES STAFF DONT UNDERSTAND ENGLISH, AND THEY DONT KNOW OR UNDERSTAND THE CONSUMERS ACT OF 2015, THEY TOOK 4 WEEKS TO GET MY RETURN AND I AM DISABLED, EVERY EMAIL EVERY DAY WAS FROM A DIFFERENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SO CALLED AGENT WANT TO KNOW IF WANT MY ITEM RETURNED, THE CUSTOMER STAFF SEEMED TO BE TRAINED LIKE HITLER TREAT PEOPLE, THEY JUST HAVNT GOT A CLUE, THERE A DISGRACE, THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN, THEY ADD MONEY ON YOUR CREDIT ACCOUNT WHEN YOU EVEN RETURNED THE ITEMS OR ITEM, IF YOU HAVE A MASSIVE PROBLEM, LIKE ME, STOP PAYING, GET ONTO YOUR MP, GET ONTO TRADE AND STANDARDS, INVOKE THE EQUILTY ACT 2010, THE CONSUMER ACT 2015, THATS THE ONLY WAY TO BEAT THEM, THERE NOT GOD THERE JUST A BUSINESS

Marisota Mail Order Company

This company is fantastic. They have regular sales and do shoe/trainer/boot size up to size 18 length and ultra wide EEEEE width. Also clothes are up to plus size/extra large, so cater for everyone.Delivery can be as soon as next day, if your item is in stock.They cater for all tastes.I recommend this company.

Avoid purchasing from this business

Not even 1 star. Purchased indesit washing machine , installation included- delivery crew did not install , advised to get a plumber. Communications with Marisota/JD Williams using livechat, messages not sent , constantly repeating the details of situation. Inconveniences caused that should not have occurred.Washing machine faulty, still communicating with Marisota/JD Williams attempting to resolve situation.20.02.21 - Marisota/JD williams contacted Hermes to collect faulty , no hot/warm water temperature, Hermes courier turned up and said it could not be collected due it being over the weight permitted.?????Washing machine photographed by Courier in returnable condition, no defects caused by me.Refund for washing machine , delayed? etc.Received an email replying to my email informing washing machine (faulty) not collected by courier Hermes and jd williams/marisota and there answer to the issue was to say they were sending two men in van to collect with in 48hrs.Responsibilty is JD Williams etc....no mention of which business was collecting a £200 washing machine... Britain February 202127.02.21- washing machine still not collected, Hotpoint and JD williams seem to be confused as to who has the responsibility of completing what for the collection, request from Hotpoint ( Rob) was an order to be raised by JD williams owner of Marisota, 2 days later and still no update on collection. I will update this review as it happens 10.3.21 , Spoke to jd williams/marisota and hotpoint/indesit/whirlpool, Marisota (seller) refusing to collect with washing machine unless authorisation code provided by indesit , did not want contact supplier themselves, I spoke to Indesit , refused to provide authorisation code, wanted direct contact email from seller.Spoke JD williams again to inform them of suppliers response.?17.03.21 Whirlpool engineer visit , confirmed washing machine checked,'not digital ,but analogue ( not LED as stated?)' , email /details awaiting....Contacted Marisota, confirmed collection date to be arranged...?19.03.21 Marisota advised that they were waiting for Supplier to inform of collection date....?26.03.2021 Waiting for indesit washing machine collection.....Marisota advised that collection couriers would be in contact within 48hrs.30.03.21 , Contacted Marisota again, washing machine not collected, spoken timo manager who assured me the situation would be resolved but this did not happen, I received an email advising me to contact Supplier indesit for collection of washing machine from 'Second Line Support '@ Marisota.....Indesit aren't answering their lines , I rang three different numbers, stating they are extremely busy? message.Rang Marisota again to inform them , waiting for response....???Rang Marisota again , spoke to a manager, promised to resolve issue today before 7pm...31.03.2021Tweeted Marisota, to inform them of situation, asking them to communicate.... to resolve31.3.21 approximately 6.30pmContacted Marisota , spoke to manager, he resolved the issue, finally communicated with some one who knew how to successfully resolve issues created by Marisota/Indesit.Sent an email requesting closing of a catalogue online account 10 April 2021, Concierge states the washing machine is still on ground floor, not collected???what's this about Britain(???mm).

I bought a SMEG from Marisota and after…

I bought a SMEG from Marisota and after 3 months use it’s got paint bubbles coming out and they seem to get bigger the more l use the kettle. I contacted Marisota n Smeg n both have ignored me. I am soo disappointed l should have just bought a£10 kettle.

I have a Marisota account which I pay…

I have a Marisota account which I pay by standing order.....I am getting letters, text messages telling me I am in arrears and threatening me with doorstep collection agency. I have emailed and sent copies of my payments from my bank but still they keep threatening. Absolutely shocking!

Non honouring Code XMAS2

Marisota sent me a code, by post, giving me 20% off garments by using the code XMAS2. I subsequently ordered two garments on line and my order showed the code had been applied. When the goods arrived the full price was shown on the invoice. I messaged Marisota to complain and late last night I received a message from them saying sorry they could not issue a credit after the goods had been ordered. I replied that if I did not get the discount refunded I would be returning their goods and closing my account, so far I have not received a reply. This exact problem has occurred previously. They have until the end of today to respond. This company make it extremely difficult to contact them and even charge for telephone calls. They are the worst.

Roman sizes disappoint a long-standing Marisota customer

I have bought from Marisota for many years and have never had any problem. A five star service.What is NOT five star is the introduction of Roman Originals. This firm does not make clothes in the larger 26-32 sizes, that I know of. They make lovely dresses which I would like to buy direct but have never been able to. So imagine my joy to see them on Marisota, only to be so disappointed that they’re here with the same restricted range of sizes! Please, Marisota, tell Roman to make in the range of sizes your Marisota customers expect! It is so disappointing. Clothing for us is restricted enough. I don’t expect to find this on this site.

I have spent over 6 days waiting for an…

I have spent over 6 days waiting for an order to be delivered by hermes from Marisota. I have spent over an hour and a half on the phone to Marisota this week and the parcel still isn't delivered. I have had the money taken from my account and the customer service is appalling!! Hermes are also a disaster. The parcel is for my 81 year old aunt who lives in a nursing home. They have delivered to her before with no problem. They are saying they have attempted 3 times this week. There is someone there 24/7 I am beyond disgusted with the lack of customer service from Marisota they don't seem to care one bit

Absolute NIGHTMARE company

Absolute NIGHTMARE company, please anyone who is thinking of using them DO NOT !!!!!!I would have cleared my balance months ago but how can you ??? They are slapping on over £70.00 a month charges, I don't know why as I have kept up with my payments. It's like having bricks hung around your neck as you just cannot get your balance down ITS IMPOSSIBLE!!! THEY HAVE PUT MORE CHARGES ON MY ACCOUNT THAN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF GOODS I ORDERED IN THE FIRST PLACE.SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS RIP OFF COMPANY !!!!!!
